WAV & MP3 Converter turns MP3 into WAV and WAV into MP3 on your machine. No account. Nothing is uploaded. Chrome is first. Mac and Windows builds follow.

Both directions

MP3 becomes uncompressed WAV (8, 16, 24, or 32-bit float). WAV becomes MP3 at 128, 192, 256, or 320 kbps. Peak normalize is optional and will not clip.

Queue and preview

Drop several files. Each row shows duration, source size, and an estimated output size. Preview uses the current settings and does not spend a conversion.

Stays on this device

Decode, resample, and encode run locally. The file never leaves the computer. Craft Web Georgia does not get a copy.

How to use it

  1. Open the app.
  2. Choose To WAV or To MP3.
  3. Drop files or pick them from disk.
  4. Change format if the defaults are wrong.
  5. Preview if you want, then convert. The file saves the usual way.

What it will not do

  • It will not convert AAC, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or video.
  • It will not join tracks or upload to a cloud.
  • The current build allows ten conversions a day on this device. The count resets at local midnight.
  • This version has no paid unlock.
